Making Sensor Technology Accessible to Everyone
SensorCast was born from a simple idea: why buy expensive sensors when you already have a powerful sensor lab in your pocket?
Our Mission
Empower Makers
Enable students, hobbyists, and engineers to build amazing projects without breaking the bank.
Democratize Access
Remove financial barriers to learning robotics, IoT, and embedded systems development.
Simplify Integration
Provide plug-and-play sensor streaming that works seamlessly with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
The Story Behind SensorCast
SensorCast started as a solution to a common problem: buying sensors for robotics and IoT projects is expensive, time-consuming, and often unnecessary. Most smartphones already contain a suite of professional-grade sensors worth hundreds of dollars.
What began as a weekend project to help students afford their robotics coursework evolved into a comprehensive platform that enables anyone to turn their Android phone into a versatile sensor lab. By leveraging the sensors already in your pocket, SensorCast eliminates the need to purchase, wire, and calibrate individual sensor modules.
Today, SensorCast supports real-time streaming over WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB, making it perfect for everything from classroom demonstrations to professional prototyping. Whether you're building a self-balancing robot, a weather station, or a motion-controlled art installation, SensorCast provides the sensor data you need—instantly and wirelessly.
